    After posting a new entry in this forum, I tried submitting another post (Reply) with info I forgot to add and it is saying that my post is closed. I tried again after about 10 minutes. Can someone explain why?

    are you talking about the bottom most thread listed there?

    Most likely its because it was a duplicate thread.

    We frown on duplicate posts around here, about as much as we frown on miscategorized posts, like THIS ONE. This isnt a “how to or troubleshooting” question, and thats where you have posted this.

    Okay. Got it — wrong category. What can I do to move? The post I am referring to is the Permalinks post. The most recent.

    I see one closed post on your profile page, and it has [closed] in front of the title.

    the rest of them should allow replies.

    As for moving, you dont. The trick is to actually post in the right area in the first place. Thats why all the areas have descriptions. 🙂
