• I keep running into this problem and keep thinking – “why isn’t this function available here?” The best place to add photos to a gallery would be in the manage gallery section since you can see what photos are already there and delete ones that you may be replacing. As it is currently stands, while you’re managing a gallery, in order to upload an image you’ve got to leave the manage gallery are by clicking on “Add Gallery (sort of like clicking “start” to turn off the computer)” or “Gallery”, then click on upload images. Even having that tab within the manage gallery section would be a help. But really the most intuitive and efficient way to make this work is just to get rid of all of the tabs and have one page for managing galleries that would let you click on a gallery to view its contents which would populate the page below then allow you do upload, delete, or even move images between galleries. I guess this means Ajax. But having the tab for uploading while within manage would help for now. I guess I could edit the code myself but updating would always break it. Any thoughts?

  • I absoulte agree the UI need really some updates. The main problem is the second update of the wordpress core UI, as you maybe know 2.7 introduce again a new (better?) UI and I plan based on this layout to change the “manage galleries” section
