• Hi,

Recently my site stopped loading on my home laptop. I receive “Site took too long to respond” and “ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT” messages. When I try my iphone, front end loads however I am unable to get in to wp-admin. I receive the following error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function array_column() in /home/wesyah234/webapps/concordcreekmequon/wp-content/plugins/wp-user-frontend/wpuf-functions.php on line 1466

I am a bit lost as to what would cause such behavior. I am able to access the front end on my work laptop (home network same as home laptop) but get the same Fatal Error when try to log into admin side.

Any help is much appreciated. If there is additional info you need please let me know.

Disable the plugin “wp-user-frontend” by deleting that directory from wp-content/plugins via FTP or your hosting control panel.

It seems like others are having the same problem, so please follow up in the plugin’s support forum: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wp-user-frontend

Thank you for your reply Steve. I’ve tried to connect to my site via FileZilla and not getting a response. Error “Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity.” I wonder if this is something to do with my hosting company. Any suggestions?

If you can’t connect via FTP it’s a hosting thing. FTP is wholly outside WordPress. (Or you may have your FTP settings wrong… 🙂 )

Can you access your hosting control panel?

Quick update. Our hosting company disabled our Front End plugin and it solved the issue. Looks like it is a known issue. See link: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/wp-admin-breaks-with-plugin-active/

In order for me to access the Admin page, I was able to add wp-admin on the end of my site and it let me get into the Admin page.

    Thanks,
    Max
