accidentally deleted ‘uncategorized’ label for posts

so in an effort to reduce and clean up my categories i accidentally deleted the “uncategorized” label. Now i have a ton of posts that are not labeled as any of my current labels, and are sort of floating around with out any category.

does anyone know how i can bring the ‘uncategorized’ label back? I have tried to just recreate it, but it exists in name only and does not grab all of the uncategorized posts…

any help is much appreciated!
