I followed the instructions to create the Google API’s with credentials and loaded the map on my site. I can see the map when I load my own site, but when someone loads my page on a different computer they can’t see the map. I also can’t see it on my iPad. It appears to load on mine because it is cached, but nowhere else. I’ve tried Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari and even incognito versions of each and can’t get to load anywhere but my computer.

    What am I doing incorrectly?

I don’t see our Maps Builder Javascript being output on your site at all. Are you certain that your theme has both wp_head() and wp_footer() in place? They are necessary for plugins to be able to load assets like Javascript onto your site.

Let me know on that. Thanks!

Do you have an example site I could look at to see how they are placed on a site? Or is there a workaround for themes that don’t have that written into the code. I can’t imagine this is the only theme that doesn’t utilize those tags. This is the theme I’m using: http://my.studiopress.com/themes/genesis/ and the child theme is Parallax Pro

Also, assuming that I add that in there myself, I am unsure of how to do so. I am new to WordPress.

Those functions are necessary to all WordPress themes, and Genesis does it correctly so that’s not the issue it seems.

My next idea is that your caching plugin is creating the conflict. Can you clear the cache and deactivate the caching plugin to test?

I see two caching plugins that were pre-installed: Endurance Browser Cache and Endurance Page Cache. Specific one there that I should disable? Or just do both?

Ya, disable ALL caching for testing purposes. I’m sure multiple caching plugins is also problematic in general so after testing I would just choose one. But definitely don’t enable either until the site is working exactly as you expect it to.

Disabled both, cleared cache before and after disabling just to be sure and still not working.

    Hi Mark,

I believe we got this resolved for you. Just needed to refresh permalinks. Thanks for using Maps Builder!
