I’ve actually got 2.6.1 but I don’t see that in the list.

I’m trying to increase the font size of the commments link in primepress theme. My site is at missoulapolis.com. I think I’ve found the code, but nothing saves now. This happens off and on.

I was able to increase font sizes in the header and comments earlier this week. Now, nothing. I do refresh screen but it’s obvious the changes don’t save to begin with. The only thing that has changed since my last edits is I added the Feedburner plugin.

Has anyone ever figured out why this happens? I found a lot of unanswered queries when I searched.

  • Have you tried to change it on your style.css?

Yes that’s the file I’m trying to change.

If you don’t have it already, install Firefox and an add-on called Firebug. Firebug will show you the relationship between the HTML and the CSS.

We all overlook simple things, so…just in case…When updating the stylesheet, be sure to hit the ‘Update File’ button to put any changes into effect.

I hope you have solved the problem. Anyway, you can download style.css with some FTP program, change what you need in Notebook, and upload file back.

Yes I do hit update. Page goes away for a few seconds and comes back with no changes. I did FTP file down and make some changes that way.

NOW I’m trying to make changes to the “main index” page and can’t for the life of me find it. There are index.php pages all over the place..guess every theme is different.

Ok, I found it. DUH. Guess WP viewer shows just the theme pages anyway so that should have narrowed it town for me.

I would still like to know why I can’t update from the WP theme editor itself.

index.php is Main index, in your theme folder.. Yes it is different.
