Inline image manager

    I am wondering if there is a plugin for displaying uploaded image in an inline panel as the old days, other than javascript-based pop-up iframe ?

    I like the way wordpress 2.6 handle uploads, but with a popup manager I can’t adjust “text cursor” on-the-fly, ie. must set an insertion point before clicking “add media”.

    PS: I use code editor by default, not visual editor.
