    Hello,

    Sorry if this has been asked before, I couldn’t find any relevant posts or docs in your support site on it.

    We have a custom scenario where we would like to have users who can act as a “parent” and then add “child” accounts which they can manage and are linked to them. Child accounts do not need to login or have a unique email address on file since we are asking the parent to administer for them right now.

    Is there a method to link accounts together into a “family”? Or can you point me in the direction of some custom method we could enable this?

    Hi Brettlevert. Did you ever find a resolution to your Parent & Child User Acct issue. I have the same need and want to us this functionality in a WordPress site. Thanks!

    Hi @sfdavidson464

    We ended up using a mix of off custom code and a different plugin. The only membership/user management plugin we found with something close to what we needed is MemberPress with their “Corporate Accounts” add-on.

    This will get you half way there as it allows a “parent” account to sign up other accounts that will be linked to it and be visible (but not editable).

    From there we added some custom code to get to exact solution we needed (actual parent/child family accounts). If you are interested we could put together a tutorial article on the modifications and setup we are using.

    Hello,

    I need a customized solution for a parent-child registration.

    1. Parent can register, make payments (for each child added) and make upgrades, cancellations etc. and can add a child.
    2. Child account – can login and access content based on their membership level (as decided by the parent). Child accounts will not have an email address, just username and password.
    3. Parent Dashboard – Can view all the details for the child and can change the child’s membership level.
    4. There is no membership level or payment for the parent, only for the child.
    Can you help with this?
