Change Header Logo Size 2017

    Hi, Could someone please help me out with this simple issue. It has been driving me crazy all day and I have been searching the web for hours and have not been able to find a solution to my problem. I am fairly new to WordPress and have installed the Sydney theme with the Sydney child theme. When I am customising my site and upload my logo for the header in the dashboard/appearance/customise/site title tagline logo, it is too small. I just want to change the size of my logo in the header so that it is bigger and easier to read. I would greatly appreciate any help.

    Hey!

    The css of the theme restricts the logos height to max of 100px. You simply need to change the height of .site-logo in style.css of the theme, as can be seen in this screenshot:

    As you have a child theme installed an update of the parent theme should not cause you any trouble.

    Hi,
    Thank you so much for your reply! I followed all of the steps and changed the .site-logo max height to 190px but the logo still stays the same size. I tried re-uploading the logo but it still stayed at the 100px. I also enabled myself to edit the style.css through my host provider but still nothing. When I view the actual website and inspect it through chrome, it says that the .site-logo max height is 100px. Even though I changed it, it hasn’t changed? Any ideas?

    Sorry for my late answer – long day at work yesterday.

    If chrome tells you that the class’s height hasn’t changed, then either you have changed the wrong file, or the site is cached and changes don’t show. Do you have an chaching plugins installed? If yes, empty it.

    I checked your site right now – it seems that your .site-logo class is now 115px. So have you resolved this issue?

    I am also having trouble enlarging my logo on the sydney child theme. The photo above has been removed so at the moment can someone HELP me and point me in the right direction please?
