You need to check a next option:
Appearance -> Customize -> Styling -> Headers -> Header BG Color
Select custom color & enjoy.

This is what I’ve already done… but It’s not working.
Apparently colors are not properly working when selected (not only the one of header but also others).
I’ve no plugin installed.
I’ve also tried to modify css in styling customize with:
#masthead { background-color: #FFFFFF !important; }
but nothing changes.
What could be happened?

Appearance -> Customize -> Styling -> Headers -> Header BG Color
The background image is there now but I can only see the top inch and it’s about 3 inches tall. It’s covered by the info boxes. How do I force them down?

Try to change header background color to red and hit save button in customizer and let me know if that’s works.

I’m using version 1.2.6.
I’ve just changed Header BG color to red but nothing happened, I still have it transparent on the slider when scrolling down the page.
