Migrate WordPress from AWS To Azure

    Hi All,

    I am new to WordPress.

    I got a requirement to migrate a WordPress blog from AWS to Azure.

    Please throw some light on this.

    Are you running Linux (yay!) or Windows (boo!) on Azure?

    Anyhow, the basics of moving don’t change.

    Backup the Database & download on your computer
    backup the root folder and download it on your computer

    Upload the files on Azure
    Restore the database on Azure

    Switch the IP for the domain from AWS to Azure

    Thanks for your reply. Mostly we use Linux Systems.

    Is there any tools or any easy way to move the data from AWS to Azure.

    At the same time please suggest me where to start to look into Azure plugins.

    Lot of AWS plugins are using in the WordPress website. Need to change those plugins as part of migration project.
