issue with variations product codes

    hi!
    I have a problem with variable products.
    I tried to insert a new product but, strangely, variation’s different codes are no more accepted (e.g. xxxxxyyy-blue for a blue t-shirt and xxxxxyyy-red for a red t-shirt)

    now the product codes must be the same for all variations and this is quite strange since all my products have different sku for each variations and I guess many e-commerce work like that.

    It looks like a bug or something like that, otherwise I guess the plugin will become useless for many e-commerce out there.

    If you know more about this issue your help would be appreciated.

    Where are you seeing this? I’m asking as that wasn’t part in a recent WooCommerce update and is counter to how SKU’s for variable products actually work.

    More likely is that this might be caused by a 3rd party interference: Are you still experiencing the same issue after deactivating all of your plugins (except WooCommerce) and switching to the default Twenty Sixteen theme?
