• Hello,
I have been trying to write some articles, but when I save the draft, the content disappears from the editing screen. When I go into the preview screen, the content is as it should be, but when I go back to the edit screen, the content is missing. In order to publish a post, I have to write and edit everything in Word and copy/paste into WordPress. I’m also having difficulty scheduling posts due to this issue.
    Thanks,
    Kelly

    Have you tried:
    – Flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or browser caches. Not just your browser, but any op cache or content network cache as well such as Cloudflare. If your host provider has a “Purge Varnish” option or if you can ask your provider to flush memcache on your server.
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Sixteen, etc.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
    – If the above steps do not help, then your browser can help you identify JavaScript issues or conflicts. Do you have any Javascript errors in the console when looking at the editor page? This article can assist you in doing that diagnosis.
