Failed logins after restrictions | WordPress.org

After I restricted the IP’s and changed the name of wp-login.php file there are still new failed login records. I don’t know how this can be possible. If there is no wp-login.php, where are the lamers trying to log in? Do you have any idea what can be done in order to prevent their attempts?

Hi, have you also enabled the pingback protection feature in the firewall menu?
