Hi @gcwp, Can you show us a page with the problem? And let us know which text you’ve tried to change the colour of so that we can take a look.

Hello
Thanks for your reply.
I am using a Twentyseventeen child setup.
I have gone to Customize/Colors and selected Custom and then a blue color but the color is not there when you look at
geoff-ideas.co.uk
?!
Cheers

Initially it looks like you’re using a caching plugin. Would it be okay to purge that plugin’s cache using its settings and then check if the colours are working? If the colours are still not working, can you let me know what specifically should have changed to a blue colour?

Could not see how to purge cache so have deactivated it but no change.
The blue color should apply to the background. If you look now I have selected “dark”.

Oh I see. Could you re-apply the blue colour setting? Thanks.

What it looks like is happening is the blue colour is only changing some text colour. Are you sure it says it’s supposed to work for background? I apologise I would check myself but I haven’t got the theme set up.

This is confusing. The 3 options under Color Scheme are
light
dark
custom
A quick look and I can see that if I select light then the background is white, dark and the background is black. Going for Custom and blue the only blue is the color of the Upcoming Events text on the concerts page.
Plus when using light the color of the page titles in the nav bar is black, when using dark the color is white!
