Cannot Delete Unwanted Widgets from Sidebar

    Hi All,
    My blog is http://www.ktens.com
    I had added a lot of widgets to this earlier. Now, i want to delete some unwanted widgets. When i click on the edit link on the widgets, nothing happens. I cannot delete any widget, such as arbitrary text, or calendar etc.
    I can however add new widgets.
    Pl advice.

    I have the same problem — duplicate widgets that don’t go away even if I get rid of all widgets using the dashboard (yes, I have tried adding at least one — just gives me a duplicate!). I am using the Sandbox theme…can anyone help with this? I really love Sandbox!

    Switch to the default theme and see if your problem goes away. That way you can rule out a theme issue.

    Thanks for responding kmessinger!

    It does appear to be a theme issue – no probs with Default or Kubrick, but Sandbox and Thematic both do it. I even deleted my entire WP installation (database and all) and reinstalled fresh…I’m just starting out and want to get everything working before I start blogging!

    I’m using:

    Firefox 3.0.6
    Wordpress 2.7.1 and
    Sandbox 1.6,

    all of which are supposed to be the latest versions…

    Some themes have their own forum. You might see what you can find on the themes you like. Do a google search.
