• If only 12 files have been modified in 2.6.2 compared to 2.6.1, is it possible to simply manually replace ONLY these 12 files, and then run the upgrade PHP script? I mean the following files:

    tags/2.6.2/wp-login.php (1 diff)
    tags/2.6.2/wp-includes/post.php (3 diffs)
    tags/2.6.2/wp-includes/version.php (1 diff)
    tags/2.6.2/wp-includes/query.php (8 diffs)
    tags/2.6.2/wp-includes/formatting.php (1 diff)
    tags/2.6.2/wp-includes/pluggable.php (1 diff)
    tags/2.6.2/wp-includes/widgets.php (1 diff)
    tags/2.6.2/wp-settings.php (1 diff)
