Contact Form 7 question

    I would like to “pre-populate” the subject line in contact form 7 .
    Can someone give me a step by step on how do do this? I see it all the time – usually “web inquiry” or such, but I’d like to be able to choose my own text.

    In the MAIL >> SUBJECT field you can hard code text to populate the subject line.

    Excellent. What would that hard code look like? Sorry I’m not a coder.

    Look at the image here. Rather than add the shortcode [your-subject] to the Subject field you can just type in Web Enquiry, for example, and then save. Then any message sent through the form will have that as the subject line. Note that if you use the autoresponder in MAIL(2) then you should include the same text in the Subject field there.
