Smart Slider 2 broken after update

My client’s site was hacked, so I had to clear that out and update everything. After that, all images disappeared from the slider, and the animations only work halfway. I mostly replaced the images (one will not save), but why is the animation broken?

After the update, please don’t forget to clear the slider’s cache: http://smart-slider-2.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1170-global-settings-cache
because currently you have a JavaScript error that occurs on cases when the slider cache wasn’t cleared after the update.

The problem with one of the images is that they look like they’re not in your server at all. E.g: http://www.fastsend.email/images/bulk.jpg
I would suggest replacing this image, or uploading a new one.

That didn’t work, and the images are no longer in the external directory.

The bulk image you pointed out will not load in the slider.

Any idea guys? Clearing cache did zero.

Sorry for the late reply, the wp.org rss didn’t sent a notice about your messages, and my colleague was on vacation.

Currently I can’t see the issue with the images on that site, but the image Ramona pointed out doesn’t exists in your server anymore, so the hacker deleted your images, and you need to upload them again.

There is one problem I see on your website, and it is that you have different Nextend and Smart Slider 2 versions, and they are only working with the together released versions. If your client still has his download period, then you can download Smart Slider 2 from here after logging in:
http://secure.nextendweb.com/
go to your Plugins list, delete the Nextend and Smart Slider 2 plugins, install this one:
http://doc.smartslider3.com/article/55-wordpress-installation
and your sliders will stay! Just clear the cache afterwards:
http://smart-slider-2.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1170-global-settings-cache

If your client’s download period has ended, contact us through support@nextendweb.com, and we will send you an installer!
