Hi arnomuhren, am I understanding you correctly that you still want it to auto-refresh the quote but just not display the countdown?
I will include an option for that into the next update and let you know.

Now that I’m adding quotes, I find I’ve been too soon with my response.
The quotes don’t seem to refresh the a next quote.
On Chromium and Firefox on Ubuntu 16.04, wordpress 4.6.1
Setting Off -> Quote stays in view, no automatic change to the next quote
Setting On -> Quote stays in view, no automatic change to the next quote, no timer visible
If you haven’t already, would you try to disable and re-enable the plugin? Sometimes that is needed for new options to actually take hold. Thanks.
