• Hi Guys,

    After an upgrade there is a duplicate “pending” order status and since then the automatic new order email to users also doesn’t go out. I think the problem might be that the other “pending” status is not fireing the automatic mail. How could I get rid of it?

    There are no custom order statuses set so that’s not the cause.

    Woocommerce is the latest: 2.6.8

    Hi Akos!

    The “Pending” status means the order has not yet been paid. These are orders are orders where the customer clicked “Place Order” but abandoned the payment page (depending on the payment gateway, i.e., PayPal) or had their credit card transaction declined. Pending orders do not generate emails.

    In this case: is it possible to set the state for new orders? I have bank transfer as a payment type and that never gets checked automatically so if someone orders a thing with that option never gets a mail (at least until I set the state manually).

    On the other hand I have a duplicate order state nevertheless (though it’s in hungarian, you can see it 🙂 ):
