Blog gone & unable to login

    I’ve been unable to access my blog since upgrading to 2.6.1. My other blog is running 2.6 on the same server and works fine. Here’s my site: http://www.crimgirl.com

    When I try to login I get ERROR: Invalid username.

    There is probably a really simple fix, but after hours of searching I still can’t figure it out. Can I get some love from the gurus?

    Restore your backup of your database and try again. It looks like your database is there but contains no info.

    You do have a working database backup right…?

    Hi, thanks for the response! Well I do have a backup, but all my files/data are still in the original database and I can access them via ftp. Should I still replace it with the backup?

    Also I’ve checked permissions and htaccess and can’t find any problems.. all of it matches my site that IS working.

    If you can, rename the existing directory (i.e. wordpress-temp) and re-upload the files you have to the directory name.

    Between the database and the files, you should be back where you were before you ran into trouble.
