failed to export/import events tables?

    Hello

    Have just used phpmyadmin to export the following tables from one database and import them into another on the same host site but the changes did not take place?!

    posts, postmeta and options.

    Have I used the wrong tables?

    Hey @gcwp,

    This sounds like a hosting support question, since we can’t troubleshoot your database. However, I would suggest clearing your cache.

    Thanks Shelby – you are right! Will try them.

    But have I got it right – that the Events Calendar does not create a table of its own in the database?

    and that data goes into these 3 tables

    posts, postmeta and options ?

    just wondered if I can actually do what I have in mind!

    I want to copy all the Events Calendar data from one WordPress site database to another. Should exporting the posts, postmeta and options tables from the first database and importing them into the second do this?

    Perhaps it is not possible as there will be data other than data related to the Events Calendar?

    Or is there another way of doing this without having to re-enter all the Events Calendar information?

    oops! spoke too soon!

    The items are imported but the the Organizer details have not come over?!

    Ideas?!

    have realized that I needed to export/import separately the venues and organizer details – that has now worked!

    PS I also got “Bulk Delete” to remove all The Events Calendar entries with help from
    Sudar.
