This plugin does not make anything appear on profile. This plugin only creates new member types. Member types do not appear on profile by default.
If you want to let users choose their member type on registration, Please use the free plugin

The above plugin allows you to let your user select their member type on profile update/registration.

On my site I will have 2 types of members, members “artist” and members “art lover”. On my registration form, users must tick a box “I am an artist” to be considered “seller”, if the user does not check this option, the member will be a “subscriber”.
