    When ever I add media and insert post my video short code is missing a poster image therefore i have to manually set a featured image . [KGVID]example[/KGVID]

    Is there FIX?

    In most situations there’s no need to manually set the poster attribute in the shortcode. The plugin usually gets that information from the video attachment’s metadata. What’s your workflow for creating/setting the poster image? If you don’t add the poster attribute to the shortcode does the plugin not load the poster image you’ve set in the attachment details? That’s how it’s supposed to work, so if it’s not doing that, there’s another problem.

    I apologize I just had to tinker with some settings on the settings page of the plugin .
    these settings seem to work and auto adds the featured image

    unchecked ‘featured image’
    change attachment page to video only
    unchecked ‘Enable in-browser thumbnails:’
