The focus keyword is saved to the database. If this function is not happening, it’s most likely a conflict with something in your setup. Please provide the answers to the following:
- Have you performed a conflict check? If not, please do so. Did you discover a conflict?
- Does the issue occur when using a default theme with only Yoast SEO active?
- Does the issue occur with the current version of Yoast SEO?
- Is the issue specific to a certain part of your site, like posts, products, categories, etc?
here is what my error console sais:
JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 1.4.1
wp-seo-post-scraper-380.min.js:10 TypeError: Cannot read property ‘getResult’ of undefined(…)d @ wp-seo-post-scraper-380.min.js:10
wp-seo-post-scraper-380.min.js:8 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘identifier’ of undefined(…)
here is what i found on it so far: http://www.rockettheme.com/forum/wordpress-plugin-roksprocket/251445-roksprocket-conflicts-with-yoast-seo-3-0-version?start=10
The link you provided requires a login which I do not have. However, I was able to find an open issue for the error you provided. Unfortunately, our developers determined that the issue cannot be fixed on our side. The GitHub issue will remain open so the theme developers can reach out to us should they need more information.
The recommend workaround is to disable the 1.2-compatibility layer included in MooTools within the RockSprocket plugin.
If you would like to follow the progress of the report, you can do that here: https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/3626
