Hello
This is possible if you go over to the category page. Example: http://clip2net.com/s/3EtvWZQ
it needs to in plugin settings -> options – Hide empty terms set Yes (only premium version)
OR
Use shortcode [woof](for display filter) which attribute : taxonomies=product_cat:X Where X id your product category.
For show or hide widgets on different pages – http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/how-to-show-or-hide-widget-only-on-selected-site-pages/
So, let me make sure I understand correctly.
It is possible with the premium version of the plugin – you just need to hide empty term sets. However, will this effectively hide higher/parent categories when they aren’t truly empty?
If I use the shortcode, it sounds like I’d have to create a different widget for each category/subcategory – am I understanding this correctly?
Hello
However, will this effectively hide higher/parent categories when they aren’t truly empty? – No, only categories where count is 0.
If I use the shortcode, it sounds like I’d have to create a different widget for each category/subcategory – Yes. For each category, create a shortcode with the necessary attributes(taxonomies) and widgets
