Different meta descriptions

    Hello.
    I want to use separate meta descriptions for the articles page.
    I use Yoast Seo and what I can do is edit the author meta description, but if that author has 100 articles divided on 10 pages, those 10 pages have the same meta description.

    Example:
    blog/author/admin/page/2/
    blog/author/admin/page/3/

    I want to use separate meta description for each those 10 pages.

    Hello @johncannon

    Other users might have different ways of doing this; however, I can suggest a plugin like Per Page Add to Head

    What this plugin does is give you a small box at the bottom of the editing page.

    You can then add a different Description Tag in that box like so

    <meta name="description" content="Here is a description of the applicable page">

    I have tried it.
    But I can’t find the

    blog/author/admin/page/2/
    blog/author/admin/page/3/
    blog/author/admin/page/4/ etc pages nowhere in the platform so I can edit the meta description.

    The plugin adds a small box inside the default WordPress editor. Kind of like Yoast gives you all the boxes inside the editor page.

    Yes I saw that but since I can’t find

    author/admin/page/2/
    author/admin/page/3/
    author/admin/page/4/

    how can I edit them?

    I guess I should have asked “Where can I find those pages to edit them”

    @johncannon

    An “article” is either a post or a page.

    You can find the box in the default wordpress editor for pages (where you can edit/publish a page)
    You can also find the box in the default wordpress editor for posts (where you can edit/publish a post)

    OK, please tell me where I can find this page to edit meta description and this to enter another meta description.

    As you can see, those are 2 different pages.
    I can’t find them in the default wordpress editor.
