Hello, I’ve been having an issue installing wordpress on my new virtual dedicated server account. I upload all of the files and change the info in wp_config.php but when I point my browser to /wp-admin/install.php, this error shows up right below the Install WordPress button

WordPress database error Table 'wordpressdb.wp_options' doesn't exist for query INSERT INTO wp_options (option_name, option_value, autoload) VALUES ('cron', 'a:2:{i:1219738847;a:1:{s:17:\"wp_update_plugins\";a:1:{s:32:\"40cd750bba9870f18aada2478b24840a\";a:3:{s:8:\"schedule\";s:10:\"twicedaily\";s:4:\"args\";a:0:{}s:8:\"interval\";i:43200;}}}s:7:\"version\";i:2;}', 'yes') made by add_option

Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated

Just a thought, but you may want to post this in the Installation forum, rather than the Troubleshooting one.

The installation forum is here: http://wordpress.org/support/forum/2

This troubleshooting forum is for when WP is up and running, so you may not get the right folks looking at your issue.

    Best of luck,
    A

Thank you for pointing me to the right forum. I made a post there.
