    I have files that I would like to share with visitors to my site. They are, for the most part, pdf files. Over the years I have downloaded many a file, never giving a second thought to what was involved. How do I accomplish this?

    If you mean links to the files you want to share, it’s a normal A tag hyperlink.
    e.g. <a href="/path/to/file.pdf">Click here to download</a>

    Actually, just use the built in uploader. Then describe the file and such and use the “Insert Link” button to insert the file link into the post. Same as if you were uploading an image. The uploader works for most all types of files in some fashion.
