The most likely culprit here is cache. Can you provide a link so I can take a look at what might be happening?

I thought it might be cache too, but I couldn’t definitively link the two by temporarily disabling cache because the problem only happens sometimes.
Hmm… it doesn’t look like the issue is happening at the moment. Next time it does, can you enable the AJAX Like Counts setting in the admin and see if that clears it up?
If it does, it’s definitely related to caching. If not, there may be something else going on.
