    So… when there is donation through paypal, I noticed that it goes to pending status but it doesn’t update to paid/complete status automatically after successful payment.

    Do you have documentation where I can check why this may be happening?

    I’m assuming plugin is supposed to update payment to ‘PAID’ once we get payment within paypal, right? Not manually done where I have to check & update on the backend, right?

    Yes, donations should be changing to Paid automatically when they are completed in PayPal. To troubleshoot, start here:

    Hm… test worked without any issue… but it’s still not updating when it’s a real donation… 🙁 Anything else I can do to test or that could be preventing this auto update?

    I am experiencing the same issue. I ran the test and received a success message, but in production I don’t get the updates.

    Various issues with PayPal donations not getting marked as Paid were resolved a while ago, so going to go ahead and close this topic. If anyone experiences an issue like this in future, please start a new topic or get in touch via our support page.
