Hi, currently there is no alternative Windows server set up in place. You will have to find the alternative for any feature in the plugin that writes to the aPache .htaccess file if you are going to use that feature.
Thanks for the fast reply, Would it work if i put an htaccess file in a specific place so the plugin can write to the file, after which i convert the correct info to the iis config file?
Hi, I don’t think that would work because Windows does not understand the following file .htaccess.
I understand, but i can translate the htaccess file into the config file for IIS, would this work for your plugin?
I have just tried another security plugin and i could create an htaccess file and write to it. so i could transfer that info to web.config.
however I like your plugin better. much more user friendly ( if i get it to work).
When installing i get the following message:
AIOWPS encountered an error when trying to write to your .htaccess file. Please check the logs.
but the logs are empty
