• Sorry if I am missing something here, but are there additional steps required to get a wpdiscuz comments section on a buddypress profile page? I have added the integration function to the functions.php file in my theme, but am having trouble locating the files in buddypress that sets up the user’s page.

Could you provide any direction on how I could go about doing this? Any help would be appreciated.

  • Hi eeigthdh,
So you want to have comment in the user profile page?

Thats right. I was under the impression that is what the purpose of adding the integrating function provided by you guys for profile URLs was, but am struggling getting very far beyond that. I had been able to do so in ultimate member, but given the way that the user profile pages are handled, the comments were not unique to one user’s page (if you commented on one page, it showed up on everyone’s). That is why I decided to give buddypress a try, as it seemed like the added function provide for the buddypress integration should provide a solution.

Any ideas? It seems the function to add user’s pages URLs should fix the ultimate member problem I had, but Im missing where in buddypress the profile pages are actually handled.

    eeigthdh,
BuddyPress integration works with wpDiscuz. We have integrated profiles, avatars.
    That’s it.
