Gone?

    Hey all,

    I’m in a bit of a panic here. I was editing a post on my blog (radio.laml.org) and then all of a sudden everything was gone! Only a white page with the URL was appearing. No error, no page source, nothing! When I tried logging in to the admin panel again, the page would not load. Nothing!

    I first searched the internet and quickly found out I am not the first to be having this problem. Posts as far back as 2006 have mentioned this. Sadly, none of the suggestions I found have helped.

    I have tried everything, from reinstalling WordPress, upgrading from 2.5 to 2.6, and a whole lot more. But no luck at all. I’ve searched these forums and there are a lot of topics on this, but again nothing that works for me.

    Help?

    Sorry for the double post, but I should also note that the problem is not with my server as my other WordPress blog (laml.org/home) appears to be up and running with out any problems.

    I’m far from an expert but I’ve had a similar problem and know what it feels like.

    I believe it was caused by errors and exceeding the php memory allocation. My site’s on its own server so I rebooted the Apache server for a quick fix. Then I increased the amount of memory that WP could use.

    Are you able to do that? Or, are you on a shared host? If the latter, you might want to contact them for help.

    Do you have SQL and/or XML backup of your blog?

    I have a MySQL database backup.

    Edit: mdstudio66, I missed your post there. But I’m guessing this has nothing to do with the server as my other blog is still going fine. Or maybe I’m off there?

    I’ve been looking at my files and I saw this in the wp-blog-header.php:

    require_once( ABSPATH . WPINC . '/template-loader.php' );

    As far as I can tell, I do not have a file called “template-loader.php” Could this be a problem?

    Looks like I might have to try another blog software. 🙁
