How to get ads like this?

    I’ve searched through, I guess I’m just not searching for the right terms. Does anyone know how to get sidebar ads like the ones in these themes here:
    http://wordpress-designers.com/

    I’ve seen them in a lot of themes, but I can’t find any documentation on it. Is there a plugin or do you have to do a lot of extra stuff?

    They have their own ads, but the theme ads are sized like Adsense image ads (300 x 250). Just paste your Adsense code in this spot in your theme’s sidebar.php.

    What about if I don’t want adsense ads? I’m actually looking to make my own ads. Do I just paste the html code in, say, the text widget? I’m just not understanding this.

    Hi there, you could try this plugin, it enables you to place ads in various zones of your site, our own ads if wanted.
