Spectacular Plugin

Totally amazing how easy this is to set up and get going. All thanks to the great support.

I’m using AMP for WP on two sites. On my larger site I got “critical errors” from Google in the validation process on about a third of my pages. The other site didn’t have any problems. Support is helping me with the errors. I wish I knew why my one site didn’t have any errors. I’m sure it’s to do with something in how I made each of the sites.

I spent quite a bit of time on my logos, using GIMP — the free Image Manipulation Program, and I think it’s worth the time. I opted to use custom sizes, and my logos display beautifully.

It took me a while to understand that my menu for AMP needs to be different from my desktop menu. There can’t be as many levels showing in AMP. So, where I wanted a deeper bit of nesting, I used periods to indent. It works fine.

The Advert function is great. I opted to buy the additional In Content functionality, and am glad I did. I think it’s going to pay for itself really quickly.

By using Google WebMaster Tools I can see people in Real-Time using AMP to view my pages. Not everyone who uses a mobile phone uses AMP. I think more and more people will learn about AMP and choose to use it..

I have a responsive site that displays mobile, but that’s not nearly as good at the AMP site, just in pure visual impact.
