Do you mean that in *Google* it isn’t sometimes showing as HTTP rather than HTTPS?
Your site itself seems to be redirecting properly.
Yeah, that’s right. You make my point clear…
Ok, Google doesn’t update in real-time. It just can’t, it has the entire internet to account for.
Eventually, over time, Google’s bot will notice the redirect and update its index accordingly.
It wasn’t showing https but after clearing cache, it started showing. After posting question, i read somewhere for clearing cache and uncheck the box for “Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page”. This problem is solved and now what about the google.
Our replies crossed, so just making sure you saw what I wrote about Google above. π
Thank you for your response, can I ask you one more thing.
The site is currently added to Google Webmaster Tools as http://www.pnrstatusbuzz.in and all the pages are indexed without using SSL. Do I just submit a updated sitemap which has the HTTPS URLs or Do I add a new site as https://www.pnrstatusbuzz.in and submit the sitemap with HTTPS urls?
If you set your site to HTTPS properly at Settings -> General in your site’s Dashboard, whatever you use to generate your sitemap should have already taken care of switching those URLs to HTTPS.
As for changing that in Google Webmaster Tools, Google says you don’t have to change anything, but there’s no harm in submitting the HTTPS site as a new site, and removing the HTTP site.
OK, i thinking to add new HTTPS URL and it’s updated sitemap. Is it right?
Thanks for giving your precious time and valuable suggestion.
