Hey –

I have built several elementor widgets, but would like to be able to connect the text in them to the global fonts.

How can I tell my widgets to use the global fonts set by elementor?

Hello Danny,

Yes, this requires using our API which is unfortunately not completed yet.

Any idea when that will be ready? I have built 6 themes and just as many custom elements. But without the ability to get fonts to match, they are almost worthless.

You are invited to browse the code of the Elementor widgets, for example a Heading widget: https://github.com/pojome/elementor/blob/master/includes/widgets/heading.php

I guess it’ll explain you a few things how we use in the global colors and fonts.
