where did you change the address?
In the Admin area, under Settings…..
as soon as I clicked ‘save’ it gave me error message, so I backtracked and it kicked me out
No access since than.
I think your address change means you’re moving WP to root folder from subfolder. Have you tried to move your WP folder and files to your root folder?
You can always restore your db back up to fix your current situation now as your setting saved there.
PS: If anything like to see if WP can release at least the domain name ( http://www.bushandevents.com ) so I can rebuild the website. Thanks
Since everything is on the WP server I have no access to the folders…..hence no access to Admin area.
Sooo…. you’re using wordpress.COM?
No, that website was/is hosted on WP.org …… (client website, I wasn’t the one who build it)
In any case, at this point just trying to somehow get the domain name released… Any tip on how-to ? Thanks
Try setting the urls back with one of these methods:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL
If this is a hosted website you should have access to the backend
by using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.
As I mentioned, I have NO access to Admin, hence this message :
“The requested URL /wp-admin/ was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”
No, sadly not hosted and no access through FTP….it was a free version directly on WP.org
A free WordPress dot com site doesn’t let you use plugins and your site does. That’s why I think it’s a hosted site.
Look here for the difference between wp.com and wp.org

Thank you for the links etc.
Yes, it is a .org site, just been having a hard time gathering all the info, as I didn’t build and set up the website.
This help! Thanks again
