Access Control Whitelist is not case sensitive

When I try to add a new user to the Reports whitelist, it always reverts to lower case. So, if a user has a username which contains an upper case letter, they cannot be added.
For example. I am trying to add ‘User1’. However, when I type the name, Slimstat reverts it to ‘user1’.

I’m referring to the area here:
Settings > Access Control > Reports > Whitelist
If I add a user with upper case letters in their name, it reverts to lower case. For example if I type in a user called ‘Paul’, it will be automatically changed to ‘paul’ in the whitelist area, despite it stating that usernames are case sensitive.
