Parse Error after Update
-
I am fairly certain I am using the latest WordPress, but I can’t check it because my whole site is down due to an error in the latest update of EWWW Image Optimizer.
This is what shows on every page of my website at this point:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘)’, expecting :: (T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM) in /home2/emwrite/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ewww-image-optimizer/common.php on line 1764
So, I am no expert on WordPress or coding. I just want to know how I can fix this problem. I’ve logged into my cPanel and found the EWWW Image Optimzer folder, but I don’t know what to do from there.
If I remove the Image Optimizer folder from cPanel, will that restore the rest of my site. I could then re-install the optimizer later?
