Plugins failed to appear in blog

    I uploaded 12 plugins to WordPress 2.6. They are in the plugin folder on my server, but have failed to appear on my new blog.
    These plugins are all working OK on another blog which has WordPress 2.6 installed.

    What might be the problem?
