I run on a PHP7 platform with ver 4.3 of the plugin. I never noticed any issues that have been raised since 4.3 was released. But there were so many quick new versions and such significant problems, that I am concerned about the possibility of regressions or instability in ver 4.3.3. Before I upgrade again, I would like to know if there are any changes between 4.3 and 4.3.3 other than the bug fixes mentioned in the change log. Further, I would be interested in learning how stable 4.3.3 is. Unfortunately, many of the messages about problems do NOT mention the version being used, so the situation is not yet clear for me.

  • Totally understand the stress there— version 4.3.3 should be fine for you. The issues were to do with OLDER versions of PHP (like 5.2) which we weren’t writing for— it turns out quite a few users are still using those older versions of php on their servers, and we prefer to try and accommodate everyone so we re-wrote some code to do that.
