• Hi,

When I upload images in Media Library, the links appear broken. I disabled W3TC plugin and the images were visible fine. I have WPPP (Performance pack) plugin which builds image sizes on fly. Hence, there is no way I should be facing such issues.

I also use a plugin to Rename my images on upload, which also is working flawlessly without/with W3TC.

I use WhiteSpace Image Resize plugin, which possibly can cause compatibility issue with W3TC, but again, it has nothing to do when uploading images.

Lastly, I use EWWW to Optimize my images.

So, I fail to understand why thumbnails/images links are appearing broken in upload library.

Mind you, other image sizes are getting generated fine and links are not exactly broken on post page. They appear broken only on Media Library, which is weird.

  • Try disabling the whitespace image resize plugin and see what happens. It doesn’t necessarily matter if W3TC can manage media files or not but conflicts can arise and cause problems virtually anywhere

Nope. Its not Whitespace plugin. The plugin has nothing to do with Images Generation either. When I disable W3TC, all thumbnails are generated on fly and all broken images resolved.

I am pretty sure its something with W3TC. In some possibility a missing PHP/HTTPD module. But other plugins are working flawlessly.

I have deployed APCU and Zend Cache on PHP7.

Infact, W3TC Auto Minify JS on my installation in previous version worked without any issue. Now its creating weird layouts and breaking down my site. Object cache too seems redundant on my installation with new update.

Alot of changes have happened in new version.
