Hi! My captcha in login page doesn’t work.

The error message: “the answer to the question is incorrect” is displayed.
CAPTCHA throwing “wrong answer”; browser independent. Sometimes continuously, other times only a single time, next login attempt going just fine.

When I desactivated the captcha on login in setup and the problem disappeared!

    What should I do?

Hi, I have been following a few users having this problem. I have carried out numerous test on my testing site and a couple of my live sites. I can’t reproduce this issue myself.

Are all your browsers up to date? Which browsers have you tested this feature on? Do any of your browsers have any caching addon, security add-on or any plugins installed?

Do you have a cache plugin installed in your site? Do you use CDN in your site?

I am trying to find out why only a few have reported this issue.

    Regards

    Try a simple test:
Launch a browser session in “incognito” or “private” mode and attempt to login to your site.
Do you still see the issue after doing the above?

    Hi!

My browsers are up to date.

    Google Chrome 53.0.2785.143 m (64-bit)
    Firefox 49.0.1

This is issue is independent from the browser. I tested in 2 computer and 5 browsers.

I always update everything like browsers, wordpress, wordpress plugins, and up to now there’s no problem with AIOWPS plugin.

Wordpress version: 4.6.1 and AIOWPS version: 4.1.7

I clear cache with my cache plugin many times (W3 Total Cache) and I have use twentyfourteen theme.

As I noticed about a month ago the problem occurred with an update. But a few days ago the captcha did not work at all.

@eminemke in regards to the following comment.

I clear cache with my cache plugin many times (W3 Total Cache)

I don’t use W3 Total Cache myself but I notice they have released 2 versions in a short period of time. Do you have the latest W3 Total Cache plugin version installed? Do you know if there is a setting that might interfere with a browser cache or the login page?

Hi, that means that there is a setting in W3 Total Cache that is conflicting with this plugin. I don’t use this cache plugin myself, so I really can’t pin point the issue. I use Hyper Cache combined with Autoptimize and they both work wonders for me 😉
