Portfolio Grid – Sort alphabetically

    Hi all,
    I realised the “Sort by title” works fine, but backwards. Could you help me fix it?

    I will have 3 pages like this, so I would like this to work sitewise (and possibly do not affect “Sort by date” in blog, where I’d like the newer posts to appear first). I could use menu order and add numbers, but with dozens of portfolio items as expected it will be a bit tedious if I need to insert something in the middle…

    +1: once we are on it, can I change the default “View details” text? Or even delete the button, so that it’s enough to click on picture to open the item?

    Hey,

    I’m not seeing that the portfolio grid is organizing things reverse-alphabetically. Did you change the setting? And are you trying to get them to display by the date that the project occurred on or date of publication?

    The order by date only takes into consideration the publish date, not the date of the actual portfolio project that you inputed under Portfolio Post Options. Setting to title should display in alphabetical order though, so I’m unsure why that’s happening.

    Just to be sure that you’re getting the order how you want it, it may be best for you to go through and give you portfolio posts there own order. While it may be a bit tedious to go back and edit your older portfolio items, it will be easy to add the order to new items upon their creation. And you’ll have the benefit of knowing 100% where your items should show up.

    Let me know if this is helpful. Try switching back to the title option so I can see your issue.

    Zirkusprinzessin goes first, then Zigeunerbaron, then Traviata, Lucia… and goes up the alphabet.
