Cannot Login WP-Admin

    I have been working through an Udemy course that walks you through setting up a virtual server and doing a LEMP install with WordPress as the installed application on it. Been going well so far and I had WordPress installed and a secret admin login created. I had access to my dashboard previously through this login, but suddenly, I am no longer able to login.

    When I try to login I get no error message. The username/password fields just turn back to blanks. I tried the forgot password link, but when I put in my username, or email, nothing happens, and I never get an email. Also tried an emergency.php script I found online to reset the password and it has no impact either.

    I’m at a big loss as to what I may have done to sever my access. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it. I have been able to login via ssh with Terminal to access my home directory of my install. Not sure if there is something I can modify in the config files that will help me get around this.

    Have you contacted support at Udemy?

    The course has ongoing Q&A section and the instructor usually follows up on questions when he’s available. He actually responded to me today and gave me a couple of other things to look at. I’ll try those when I get home tonight and we will see.
