Long URLs are causing error messages

I’m getting the following errors in my apache error log, which – as best as I can tell – are coming from the URLs created by BWP, which are very long:

the log buffer is full (1024). The access log request has been truncated.

Is there a setting I can use to shorten the URLs generated by BWP? I don’t need to have every file name inside of the URL.

I tried checking the “Enable friendly Minify URLs” option, but that breaks my site.
