Why do you want to get rid of it? It only shows for you when logged in?
I have 2 sites (1. http://kris.richensblogs.com the other is 2 http://www.spottedbargains.com ) the latter is a customer based website that i want to upgrade to a new theme to give it a new look. However it really relies on customer interaction.
the first site, to be honest is just a little blog. Not really interested in getting rid of that one as much but i would still like to if i could.

Unfortunatly no, the top bar when logged in the black bar at the top with the jetpack stats that you see when logged in
You can remove that bar when visiting your site while logged in by going to users>>your profile and make sure “Show Toolbar when viewing site” is not checked.
